In 2002 Jabala founded Sound Choice Dj Productions Canada (aka DjBalla), an elite Dj company and Master of Ceremonies. Offering event lighting, sound technologies, talent booking, and game show hosting (including Music Trivia Challenge), Jabala has the largest music/video library in Canada. DjBalla @ Sound Choice Dj Productions Canada is AVLA licenced and covers all genres, such as: 50's-60's / classics / rock / dance / house / edm / reggae/ dancehall/ electronic/ hip hop/ rap / etc.
On a journey of peace, Jabala hoped to bring circle facilitation to communities in need. After co-establishing the annual Restorative Justice in BC forum alongside colleagues from all types of alternative dispute resolution programs, Jabala ventured deeper into peaceful approaches to conflict resolution. Following a decade of intense studies Jabala founded Peacekeeper Mediation, with expertise in these areas:
Indigenous Group Conferencing / Healing & Support Circles / Recidivism (Reintegration To Society) / Legal Disputes / Work Place Conflict / Civil Conflict / Strata Disputes / Victim-Offender conferences / Youth & Adult Probation / Prisoner Assistance / Crime Prevention / etc.
EMERGENCY MEDICAL SERVICES
Jabala established Medic1 after experiencing a shortage of first responders amidst a crisis scorn province, starting in the summer of 2017 onward. It became apparent that BC was in desperate need for qualified persons to attend remote locations in order to provide relief services, as the province was facing unprecedented wild land fires & floods.
Currently Medic1 provides emergency medical responders with occupational first aide level 3 and above. Medic1 also provides in office services that require advanced medical esthetics and/or laser supervision and inspections. Jabala is a fully licensed Laser Safety Officer and oversees the operations at Medic1.ca
